Subject: High Energy Show!
Subject: High Energy Show!
This show is pretty sweet, with a 1st set opening w/one of the best versions of "Bertha>Greatest Story and Cold Rain and Snow"The band set the energy
...
bar high for the rest of the night."Touch>Man-Smart,"opened the 2nd set followed by a mood transitioning,"Ship`o Fools."Jerry set the mood for other tranquil ballads, that were yet to come, like,"Terrapin Station,"I Will Take You Home,"and"Morning Dew."All of which, were played with persicion...A very bouncy,"U.S.Blues,"sent us on our way.All in all,a very good show.Very far from sub-par,How you could say such a lie about this show is beyond me!....We miss you very much Jerry..So very, very much!

This show to me was inspired but not exceptional I was following much of the East coast tour that year--- to get tickets early you had to call this hotline
...
then send money orders to some address in CA --- but it was a good year My fondest memory of this show was being at the top row of rich stadium watching five or six different fireworks shows (real flat land in Buffalo) as the band did there encore US blues-- exceptional

nice to hear jerry sounding better in 89 than in 85 and a good show, but really to label this a classic is an injustice to new heads trying to sift through
...
2300 performances to find the best. If you want to find the best Buffalo show, head to may 9th 1977 and then seek out march 31st 1973, those are classics.

Subject: No jam in Deal pre-1980
Subject: No jam in Deal pre-1980
There was no second jam in Deal until late 1980, so the previous comment is just plain uneducated on the matter.
This is an uneven show, with some ... great highlights among sub-par performances of other songs.
